The Tiffany chair
The Tiffany chair, also called a Chiavari, has a slim, ridged back and a classic silhouette that has become the default for formal weddings. It photographs well, stacks neatly, and pairs with almost any colour scheme through a seat cushion or a tied sash.
The Wimbledon chair
The Wimbledon chair has a similar refined, lightweight feel with a slightly different back design that some hosts prefer for a cleaner, more contemporary line. It is also the sturdier of the two on grass, so it suits an outdoor lawn ceremony as well as a reception.
How to choose
Pick on appearance and on what suits your tables and linen, and on your surface: Tiffany chairs are best on solid, flat ground, while Wimbledon chairs cope better with grass. For a lawn or uneven setting, tell us the ground and we will advise. If you are unsure, hire a couple of each to compare before you decide on the full count.
