How Does Event Hire Pricing Work?

Your total comes down to three things: the items you hire, how far we travel to deliver them, and a refundable breakage deposit, all of which you can see on a live quote before you pay.

A flat rate per hire period

Each item is charged a flat rate for one hire period, not per day. A weekend period runs from Friday to Monday, and a weekday period from Tuesday to Thursday, so a single rate covers the whole event window even if you only use the items for one day. That makes the cost easy to predict.

There are no fixed packages and no minimum order. You add exactly the tables, chairs, tableware, and decor you need, and the quote adds up the per-item rates.

Delivery and the deposit

Delivery is charged per kilometre from our yard in Bonnievale, worked out over the out-and-back trips to deliver and then collect, with a short minimum for very local jobs. Collecting yourself from the farm avoids the delivery charge on a smaller order.

A refundable breakage deposit is added on top of the hire. It is returned, or kept as account credit, after the equipment comes back, less the cost of any damage. Payment is by EFT or cash before the event, as we do not run an online card gateway.

The quickest way to get an accurate figure is to build a quote online: choose your dates, add your items, and enter your delivery town. The wizard shows the estimated delivery fee and the deposit before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

The rate is the same flat per-period rate whether you use an item for one day or the whole weekend, so a single-day event is charged the standard period rate.

No. Party Time is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to your quote.
